Jarrod Frank (b. 1993, Maryland) is a self-taught painter and sculptor, whose work fuses figurative painting, dynamic texture, and an exploration of psychological depth. Working primarily in an impasto style, Jarrod creates vibrant, tactile pieces that merge bold color, thick layers of paint, and intuitive expression.
Having grown up in an entirely Deaf family as a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), Jarrod’s upbringing in the Deaf community has informed their worldview, bringing an uncommon insight to his art. While not the central focus of his work, this experience has shaped how he perceives language, expression, and connection, adding layers of depth to his exploration of identity and personal narrative.
